Pitiful, at best

It is sad when, at 10:45 in the morning, I am thinking to myself, "Damn it's late!" I had an appointment this morning after work, and now I am too tired to sleep! I hate when that happens. However, I do have a wonderful king sized tempurpedic matress waiting patiently for me. Not to sound like an infomercial, but if you have never slept on one of these things, I suggest trying it. On any regular matress, I have found that one sweet spot where it feels like you sink about an inch and a half further into the bed when you finally get comfortable just prior to telling the world that it can take a hike. This matress has immediate sinkage. You lie down on it, and Ahhhh! The only bad part is that once you have slept, and you finally decide it is time to get up, you are still in that sweet spot, which makes it rather difficult to tell yourself that it would actually be a good idea to get up.

On a seperate but random note, I have tried to not make this a personal bitch space for me to vent all of my worldly frustrations, but I have to say one thing. F*ck it's hot! Yet, for the ever important kharmic balance, at least there is a 30% chance of rain today! (wooptie-do)

Isn't that just a kick in the crotch?

I can't say I remember washing my car for about a year and a half. I don't drive my car all that frequently, as such I really don't notice how dirty it is inside and out. Having driven in it a bit more than usual this weekend, I came to the logical conclusion that it had been WAY too long since Annie had a bath. It began as the perfect day to wash, nice and warm, slightly overcast so that I can let it air dry without having too many spots, yet cool enough to still enjoy the manual labor of washing, scrubbing, vacuuming, and wiping the interior. The forecast showed a 20% chance of rain early next week, mainly south of the DFW metroplex. By the time I finished washing, the wind was picking up a bit. By the time I finished with the vacuum a freak thunderstorm moved in. I guess I should wash more often. Apparently I am the entire cause of the drought.
