Can't see it from my house
It would take entirely too long to give the background to the events that took place last night, but I can say that I despise apathy! When I have to jump through my ass all night long to fix a problem that was discovered six hours before the off-going shift left, and not reported until my shift reports it, I get a bit testy. When my boss's boss has to come up and stay the entire night at the plant because of said issue, I get a bit miffed. When, after the problem is finally resolved at 2 A.M., and I have talked on the phone to boss number 3 and 4 in the hierarchy, all issues magically disappear, I get a bit ticked at the fact that it could have been taken care of during the day when it was originally noticed.
And now it is thundering and lightning, a perfect end to a wonderful night. At least I will sleep well.
