Are we there yet?
I am glad that this part of my week is over. I have been numbing my ass muscles in the most uncomfortable classroom chairs for the past three days followed by a wonderful state exam. Standardized tests really annoy me. They are not designed to test your knowledge of a particular subject matter, they are disigned to assess how well you are able to take a test. Lucky for me, I am rather apt at taking standardized tests, as well as most other tests, and I am certain that the test was not a waste of my time. In just over 14 days I will know for certain whether or not I am licensed by the great state of Texas.
The other down side to this whole class and test situation is that I still work nights for now, and after being awake during the day all week, I now have to flop my circadian rhythm back so that I can be a night worker again tomorrow. Oh what fun.
On the upside of that, I at least get an opportunity to sit at the computer for a while tonight.
